Pain
Normal Pain When a non-FM stubs their toe, a message is sent to the brain via the central nervous system. The brain makes the person react saying, 'Ouch!' and rubbing the toe to stop the pain. Central inhibitors - the body's inbuilt painkillers such as serotonin and endorphins - are then produced and are then delivered through the C-fibre to switch off the pain.
