A form of medication that affects the neurotransmitters by increasing

Stress |

in danger – flight or fight response. If no action is taken,
health problems can result over a period unbroken stresses.
Stress is best managed by exercise, medication, relaxation
and learning new coping strategies. |
Substance P |
High levels of substance P in
spinal fluid cause neurons to send pain messages to the brain
without any injury. Production is regulated by norepinepherine,
serotonin and dopamine all of which are low in FMs. |
Thyroid gland |
A gland in the throat that affects
heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature and metabolic rate. |
